“MAKING ART NOT ONLY HELPS ME PURSUE MY PASSION AND HOBBY, IT GIVES ME A DISTINCT WAY TO HELP AND SUPPORT THE SOCIETY AND GLOBAL CAUSES, IN MY OWN SMALL WAY”
Shreya Sen is a visual artist, based in Sandefjord, Norway. These artworks are a part of a collection, created as a part of her school community and service project (Art for a Cause).
Capturing the positivity, beauty or simple joys of life and nature are the main subjects of her paintings. It is targeted towards all age groups. The works are executed using vibrant colors, often times incorporating abstracts in the medium of watercolor
on paper or acrylic on canvas. She also likes using oil, charcoal, and soft pastels.
This e-gallery is an accumulation of her artworks along with a section dedicated to photography, done by her father. He has been essential in making an impression on her style. It is not a coincidence that a lot of the subject matter in the photographs,
whether be it sailboats, gardens or Norwegian sunsets, are reflected in the artworks. It gives a unique perspective– to see the same subject from the eyes of a photographer v.s. the eyes of a visual artist.
Both the artworks and photographs are available for sale. If interested in buying any of the artworks or for commissioning a piece, Shreya can be contacted via her email. All funds raised will go towards charity.
