I sought to reduce the landforms into the simplest of lines, which led to the idea of topographic maps and geographic terrains. Further experimentation leads to the development of dense, concentric lines done in ink and chalk on paper that aid in the depiction of elevation and providing a sense of the terrain. This piece also seeks to reflect the futuristic quality present majorly in Zaha Hadid’s architecture, the inspiration, with minimalistic linework and form in color white.
